Meyer's Flat, south of Livingston. At over 6500 ft above
sea level, the ridge has a good view
of both Livingston and the Paradise Valley.
KEMC shares this concrete building with several other repeaters
and translators.
On this January, 1999 visit, the snow was 4 feet deep.
Though slow and ugly by today's standards, the Skidoo Alpine is
an old workhorse, ideally suited for hauling gear and test
equipment to remote transmitter sites. Thanks to Bridger

Translators for KEMC and KGLT sit side-by-side on a surplus
desk at the Meyer's Flat Communications Site.
On July 14, 2006, the Meyers Flat translator was moved to a
different building and tower at the same site.

On October 29, 2010, a full-service radio station commenced
operation at the Meyers Flat site.
