On July 14, 2006, the Meyers Flat translator was moved
to a different building and tower on the same site. |

The schedule was extremely tight, so we got to work as soon as we
received the go-ahead.
Jim removes one of the antennas and coax from the old tower.
The new translator building was already home to several television
translators. The translator for Yellowstone Public Radio was to be
mounted in the lower part of this rack in the corner.
The two guyed towers support antennas for the radio and television
translators. The YPR transmitting antennas are mounted about half-way
down on the left tower. The free-standing tower on the right supports
an 8-foot microwave dish to receive a signal from Billings.
The TTC translator and Henry power amplifier have been mounted in
the rack and operation has commenced from the new location, July 14, 2006.
