Yellowstone Public Radio serves Bozeman, Belgrade, Manhattan, and Three Forks on 102.1 MHz with a transmitter located near Four Corners. We also maintain the John W. Fisher Studio at the Bozeman Public Library.

In 2007, funding became available to procure and install HD RadioTM equipment for KBMC.
KBMC HD Antenna
The antenna is a one-bay ERI roto-tiller. In an emergency, this antenna can also be used to transmit the analog signal.

The next big step for KBMC was in 2008, program distribution via satellite.

This hole in the ground is for another project at the KBMC transmitter site, the addition of a backup generator. It will be propane powered, and keep the station on the air when the power fails.
