KGPR, Great Falls
Studio Move, June 26-29, 2007.
During the remodeling project at the College of Technology, the KGPR studio
was forced to move to temporary quarters.
Jim and David meet with station manager, Tom Halverson, and campus IT
Director, Willie McGee, outside Room B102, designated to house KGPR for the
duration of the construction.

In many ways, the console is the heart of the studio. While Jim is moving the
console up the hall, there is no studio.
After two days, the new studio is mostly functional. It's not pretty, but
it works.
As much as possible, we arranged the equipment just like in the old studio.
Three microphones are mounted around the console.
The rack with the CD players and telephone hybrid is to the right.
The next rack to the right has the cassette deck, the DAT machine, and the
Mini-Disc machine.
Finally, the two turntables are on a surplus desk on the far right.
