In June, 2011, we made major modifications to the KANA ground mat in
connection with an Atlantic Richfield Old Works project.
Reba and Brandi watch for the ground radials while Loren operates the mini excavator.
Each ground radial that crossed the new southern property boundary was cut
and soldered to a transverse copper wire.
Three copper ribbons were connected to the ground system in the south quadrant, to attempt to make up for the truncation of the ground radials. We had them promptly buried so that there would be no temptation for thieves.
The Anaconda Deer Lodge sewer department took advantage of us being on site
and removed an old, wooden manhole on the property.
Because the project involved changing existing grades, the electrical service
was buried to avoid overhead clearance issues.
