The name W. L. Holter is legendary in Montana broadcasting. This AM-FM combo in Helena was the last of a great empire that stretched across decades and generations of history. In 1999, General Manager Jim Schaeffer called us to take care of some nagging engineering issues at the stations.

Since that time, the stations have been sold to Cherry Creek Radio. The studios are now co-located with those of KCAP-AM, KZMT-FM, and KHKR-FM.
